Thana is a mute woman who upon returning to her apartment from grocery shopping is raped twice. Being traumatized and victimized by the event she needs to get her power back. Using a .45 she roams the streets dressed provocatively and kills any man along the way.
Zoë Lund plays Thana brilliantly, for a character that has no lines she really displays the emotion necessary and takes control of every scene. You really feel the struggle she has with the day to day life. How being a victim of rape creates a barrier that divides her from the rest of society.
This is a brilliant revenge movie, for fans of Thriller (They Call Her One Eye) and the cult classic I Spit on Your Grave this is a must see. I actually believe this film is better than those two, it just has so much charm. There's not a moment of this film that goes by that isn't moving, and the last 10 minutes it just explodes into pure mayhem.
